Tree Protection Plans

The Tree Protection Plan will identify the tree and hedgerow locations in relation to the final proposed layout. It will show the Root Protection Areas, BS5837 quality category, and canopy dimensions of all trees identified for retention, and the position of any recommended tree protection.

To produce this plan we will require the proposed layout from an architect or planner in .dwg format. For very simple projects we may be able to work from .pdfs

The tree protection plan will usually be included as an appendix in the Arboricultural Impact Assessment or Arboricultural Method Statement report. For sites with very minimal arboricultural impacts it may be possible to provide the Tree Protection Plan as a standalone element.
